A Naples shopping excursion is one of the many exciting things to do on your Naples Florida vaction! I so look forward to a shopping adventure at the Village on Venetian Bay when in Naples Florida! It’s a beautiful exquisite shopping venue in Naples, designed with the shopper in mind!
The layout is very appealing.
The red, wide-stone pathways weave their way between the shops and restaurants and there’s a beautiful view of Venetian Bay.
Be sure to take advantage of the complimentary valet parking on the north side of the Village, in front of Ben and Jerry’s. Naples shopping right on the waterfront sets the stage for a truly enjoyable afternoon for my daughter and I. The pace at Venetian Village on Venetian Bay is nice and easy. You’ll meet shoppers and window shoppers wandering, browsing and just enjoying the pleasant surroundings.
After we have ‘covered’ all of the shops in V. Village, we're definitely ready to stop for some lunch.
There are several restaurants to choose from. We often have lunch at Villaggio Café, a nice little Italian café, and sit outside on the patio. The food is fresh and home made. The homemade cookies are baked with love, by the owner's wife.
During one particular visit, while finishing lunch on the outdoor patio at Villaggio Café, there were a few ladies from one of the shops strolling around Venetian Village, modeling some of the latest fashions! I don't know how, but we had missed this shop! After lunch, we headed straight over, to check out the beautiful clothing. I don’t recall the name of the shop. What a great way to provide some entertainment for the shoppers at Venetian Village and also do some subtle advertising!

My favorite shops at Venetian Village are
Chico’s and Aqua Beachwear.
Chico’s specializes in ladies clothing and accessories, while Aqua Beachwear specializes in what else but swim and beach wear!
What I like best about this shop is the extensive selection and most of all, the personal service they offer. The sales associates are well versed in styles and fashion trends.
Not only will they help find what you're looking for, but also offer as much assistance as you want, to accessorize and coordinate an outfit in several different ways! A great jacket or dress is only ‘truly great’ if it is part of a well put together look.
I’ve found that the sales staff really go out of their way to help the customer in this way. I know I always appreciate this kind of help. Too often I get caught up in a fantastic fashion find, only to be disappointed that it doesn’t look quite so wonderful when I get it home, because I don’t have the right pieces to put together.
I never walk out of Chico’s without buying at least one item, even if it is just a piece of costume jewelry!
Aqua Beachwear specializes in a huge stock of fabulous swim and beach wear. It’s one of my first shopping stops when I arrive in Naples, to get a couple of great swim suits! They have a great selection of brand names and styles. I always ask the sales staff to pick out the best styles to suit my body type. They ask what colours I prefer and select the best suits for me. The end results are the best suits to flatter my body shape.
I don’t think it would be easy to sell swim suits even in a beach location like Naples. It is a fact that most of us girls hate it so much, that over 50% of women in North America and Europe never ever buy a swim suit, because of the struggles involved in finding something that flatters our figure!
This store had lots of choice and staff support to make the fitting process a success for me!

Special Events at Venetian Village
The first Thursday evening of every month, from 6-9 p.m., the Village hosts Venetian Village Nights. There’s live entertainment to enjoy and a few of the restaurants offer cookouts and refreshments to while watching the entertainment. You can even put down your shopping bags and dance to the live music! What a great way to spend an evening in Naples!
The Village hosts other seasonal events too, such as Christmas holiday entertainment, face painting, and the Village Boat Parade.
While my daughter and I are engaged in the shopping experience at Venetian Village, there are several things to do in Naples to keep the rest of my family entertained for a few hours, too! Or at the Village, there’s lots of comfortable, well-situated seating available to people watch and also take in the sights by the water. For casual food stops, there's Ben and Jerry's for cool ice cream treats as well as a few other spots for a cappuccino or a light lunch.
